The most important thing about student accommodation or residences in Malta is the proximity to the school where you are going to study English, we say this because public transport in Malta, although it covers almost the entire island, is generally slow and unpunctual, additionally, in high season collapses due to the number of tourists and students within the island, as a matter of fact, drivers don't even stop to pick you up because they are full and cant fit you in. If your residence or accommodation is just a few minutes walk away, its much better. Our residences consist of shared rooms, if you travel in a group or as a couple, you could use them for a few weeks while you land in the island and look for an individual rooms or flats, as it will probably be cheaper for your group. If you buy your course with us we can give you a rental declaration form for your student visa if you pay 8 weeks or more in advance, however, we cannot give it to you for other types of visas such as working visa.
